About Me:
With over two decades of experience as a school counselor in highly competitive schools, I specialize in guiding students through the college admissions process with a focus on finding the right fit to ensure long-term success. I understand that every student and family has unique needs, and I pride myself on being a versatile resource for both traditional and nontraditional applicants. My approach is holistic and personalized, designed to reduce stress for students and parents alike and make the journey as smooth and positive as possible.
As a mother who recently celebrated my eldest daughter’s college graduation—and with my youngest preparing to apply to college—I know firsthand the mix of pride, anxiety, and excitement that comes with this milestone. Having been through it myself, I provide empathy, insight, and practical guidance to help families feel supported and confident. My passion lies in helping students find colleges that align not only with their academic and career goals, but also with their personal values and aspirations.
In addition to working with “traditional” applicants, I offer specialized guidance for families whose children have learning or physical differences (504/IEP). I’m experienced in developing tailored plans that address both academic needs and social-emotional growth, ensuring every student is set up for success.
Whether navigating applications, pursuing honors programs, or addressing unique family circumstances, I bring expertise, compassion, and a steady hand to the process. My mission is to ease the stress, remove uncertainty, and help each family move through the college admissions journey with clarity and confidence.
